inGot this beautiful book for christmas, with tips on how to make edible cookie dough. It’s a delight, and I highly recommend it.
One problem I have with it though is that it, as many other american recipes, likes to add eggs to cookie dough. I don’t have a problem with the “edible raw eggs” part – but I DO have a problem with the shelf life of egg products.
If you just do what it says on the tin and eat it after chilling, or bake and eat within a few days, you’re fine. It’s delicious. Try it out.
(pictured above: two bowls of cookie dough for me with a cup of tea, and one cup of tea for my boyfriend)
However, while I’m used to baking cookies in bulk that will be fine next month as well, you really shouldn’t attempt to eat the cookies made from egg based dough after one or two weeks. It’s just not a very good idea.

inMy dad got me a madeleine cake tin, and omg they are the most delicious thing. They have ZERO shelf life, so you have to eat them all right away. Such a shame really. How will I ever. I’ll just have to make the sacrifice.

We’ve been sent home from the office to move to full time working from home life, before the rest of the nation has even reacted.
I really made this just for fun, I’m never leaving my house again. I’m already on antibiotics for something that adults theoretically do not even contract. Delivery-everything, here I come.
